Hannaford Cabernets 2022
Our Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot shows delicious dark berry and chocolate characteristics with an earthiness to give it a great finish. The Petit Verdot adds extra body and the Merlot adds lovely fruit characters. An excellent finish with ripe tannins and background oak.Â
Our Hannaford label pays tribute to Ellen Louise Hannaford and all the pioneering souls who settle our region. Ellen was granted the land on which the Indigo Vineyard sits in 1929 by King George V., of Great Britain, Ireland and the British Dominion beyond the Seas King Defender of the Faith Emperor of India. We know little of her family and the life she led on this land. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our vineyard grows. We pay respect to their Elders past and present.
