2022 Secret Village Roussanne

Roussanne originated in the Rhone Valley in France and is often blended with other varieties. The wine is crisp with a lovely citrus and orange peel nose. It has great acid structure and a long finish. A very special drop best enjoyed with pork - we love it with rillette.

This label is reserved for wines which are of exceptional quality and tiny production. The name comes from the camp at Big Hill built in 1875 for the construction of the railway to Beechworth. All that remains is the base of two brick kilns which were used for the construction of the culverts.
