Beechworth Shiraz 2022

A very different shiraz to the previous vintage release: lower in alcohol, overall ripeness and generally a little more circumspect. Aussie bush notes, pepper and briar scents with black fruits, plum and spice. There's an almost unassuming elegance to this wine, with beautifully presented red and black fruits studded in spices and black pepper notes. The palate is really fluid, polished and even, with tannins running long and fine. Very smart indeed.
