The last of the Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot has been harvested and vintage is all over for another year!!

Volumes are well down but the quality is looking good. The whites, especially the Chardonnay, taste terrific.

It has been the first year in a while that we've had backpackers in the picking crew. Lots of young people are spending their 88 days working in a rural industry to get an extended visa to stay in Australia. 

It's a real benefit for seasonal industries like ours and they have had lots of fun!!

There is still plenty of work to do in the winery but for now, a huge thank you goes out to the vineyard team, winemaking crew and everyone involved in making this vintage possible.
