Small Batch Shiraz Merlot 2023

Our Small Batch estate grown wines are an occasional barrel selection from outstanding years. These wines are chosen for their regional, varietal and single vineyard expression.

Opening the bottle and swirling the glass shows luscious fruitaromas. The palate has a richness and elegance from the Shiraz but it is softened and smoothed by the Merlot.

There are no sharp edges just delicious fruit flavours and a tight finish from the French oak. Lovely tannins and a good acid backbone carry the flavours right to the finish. Makes me want to sip and savour with or without food.
